For your enjoyment, we have a horseshoe pit and volleyball. Also a fire ring where guests have the opportunity to meet each other and exchange their favorite stories, roast marshmallows, play guitar and sing or just sit and enjoy the stars.

DEPOSIT AND CANCELLATION POLICY:All rates are per person and subject to 7% Maine State sales tax. Rates do not include gratuities, which are not expected but greatly appreciated. A 30% non-refundable deposit is required for confirmation of reservation. Balance due is expected upon arrival. Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of your deposit within 10 days of making a reservation. We cannot risk losing a reservation while waiting indefinitely for a deposit. If for any reason you find you cannot fulfill your reservation, your deposit can be held for a future reservation or with a 30-day cancellation notice, will be refunded less a $30 cancellation fee. Late arrivals and early departures leave vacancies impossible to fill on short notice. The cabin has been reserved for you in good faith for the full time that you have requested. Therefore there is no refund for late arrivals or early departures or missed meals. Your deposit provides assurance to both you and us of your confirmed reservation. *Rates subject to change without notice.

TO GET HERE FROM THEREWe are located approximately 130 miles north of Bangor. Follow I-95 north to Exit 264 at Sherman. Take Route 11 north approximately 50 miles to the OxBow Road on the left. Follow the OxBow Road 6 miles to the OxBow Post Office on the right directly after the bridge (where we live) or continue on up the road another mile to the Smith Brook Road on the left (dirt road & a green Umcolcus sign). Continue on the Smith Brook Road approximately 2 miles and bear left at the Y (white Umcolcus sign in tree). Continue approximately 2 more miles and take the road straight ahead (green Umcolcus sign). Continue approximately 2 more miles directly to camp.Welcome to Umcolcus Sporting Camps
